The career of GRAVE DIGGERS started back in 1980. Their early classic 'Heavy Metal Breakdown' established the young band as one of Germany's most exciting newcomers of that era, followed by two more epics called 'Witchhunter' and 'War Games. The rather strange DIGGER project confused the fans with a totally different musical direction, though, and in 1991 GRAVE DIGGER decided to stick to their roots again. 'The Reaper' marked a great comeback and ever since then the band was and still is one of the most important and popular traditional European heavy metal acts around.
