AUDREY HORNE

It all started in 2002, when singer Torkjell 'Toschie' Rød and keyboardist Herbrand Larsen along with members of GORGOROTH, ENSLAVED and DERIDE formed an alternative rock project under the unusual monicker AUDREY HORNE, which was, of course, taken from the infamous 'Twin Peaks' TV series by David Lynch and Mark Frost. In the years to follow, the project grew into a real band and its sound evolved into a thrilling and fresh reprise of the glorious ages of 70ies and early 80ies hard rock.

Actually, since the release eponymous third album in 2010, the band is considered to be one of the finest acts out there paying musical tribute to legends like LED ZEPPELIN, DEEP PURPLE and especially Irish twin guitar gods THIN LIZZY, while adding a slice of good old NWoBHM here and there, too.

Their latest recording 'Blackout' is one of band's strongest productions so far ans highly acclaimed by both fans and media, catapulting the Norwegians right into the German top 40 sales charts. It's really about time for AUDREY HORNE to visit us at Balingen, and so they will - as part of the BANG YOUR HEAD!!! band line up 2019!
